ABOUT
Lucky Buddha Media is me, Victoria Cobley.
After graduating from The University of Sheffield where I studied Journalism, I worked for a variety of publications including ArtsThread, Exposed and The Sheffield Telegraph. I enjoyed broadcast Journalism and worked freelance for Hallam FM, Peak FM and BBC Radio Sheffield.
I finally moved into marketing and PR and spent a number of years in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. This allowed me to continue to write stories about people, but develop my skills in B2B writing, award submissions and digital marketing.
After several years working in agencies, I made the move to freelance copywriter over eight years ago. This allows me to work with clients I want to work with. I deliver professional content created exclusively for them.
The name Lucky Buddha Media was created when I needed to become limited having been offered a Government contract. I didn't want a company in my personal name, so I decided to honour the little green buddha that sits on my desk and often brings me luck.
